Job summary

Dolby Laboratories in Burbank, CA, seeks a Staff Technical Account Manager to serve as the technical architect and long-term partner for our most strategic video accounts. You will own the technical relationship across onboarding and ongoing optimization within customers’ environments, coordinating with internal engineering teams.

You will collaborate with a Customer Success Manager to ensure holistic account health, and you will focus on architectural excellence, proactive health monitoring,

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in technical roles within video streaming, AdTech, or SaaS industries.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end media delivery workflows, including encoding, transport protocols, and CDN architectures.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical implementations, stakeholder expectations, and aggressive go-live dates.
• Experience using AI tools to summarize logs, generate scripts, and automate routine documentation.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders while collaborating with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and project orchestration for new strategic customer onboarding with Delivery Engineering.
• Collaborate with the CSM to ensure long-term business goals are technically feasible and roadmapped.
• Monitor account performance using dashboards and AI-driven monitoring to identify issues early.
• Synthesize customer feedback into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Analyze upcoming product releases and infrastructure changes for impact and communicate changes to customers.
• Prepare for high-stakes live events or major product launches with the operations team.
• Leverage AI tools to automate data collection and health-score reporting for proactive improvements.
