Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an experienced tech transactions attorney to join our legal team. This in-office role supports Sales, Product and Engineering, with opportunities to expand within a growing startup.

You will lead negotiations on complex commercial contracts, advise executive leadership, and drive scalable legal processes while balancing ambiguity and speed. A JD and state bar admission are required, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including software licenses and partnerships.
• Experience negotiating IP and material contracts representations in financings.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment with tight deadlines.
• Active membership in one state bar with law degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum five years in relevant activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, structuring, and negotiating complex commercial contracts with customers and partners.
• Advise leadership on legal matters critical to business growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
• Support IP, Product, and Compliance activities as needed.
• Create forms, playbooks, and training to improve consistency and speed.
• Develop scalable legal operations processes and tools.
• Proactively manage other duties in a small legal team.
