Job summary

Okta Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager of Strategic Sourcing to lead the Technology category strategy across Software, Network, SaaS, IaaS, and AI.

You will build long-term category plans, drive cost optimization, and manage high-stakes supplier negotiations in collaboration with Finance, Legal, Security, and the Tech organization. You will mentor a team of Category Managers, develop processes and KPIs, and report to the Director of Sourcing & Procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement in leadership roles.
• Deep experience in Technology sourcing (Infrastructure, SaaS, Telecom, IaaS, AI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex strategic sourcing strategies for Technology categories (Software, Network, SaaS, IaaS) to optimize procurement.
• Develop 3–5 year rolling category strategies with Technology stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and oversee KPIs for Technology sourcing activities and governance.
• Lead contract negotiations, terms, pricing, and SLAs; mitigate related risks.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Security, Privacy, and Technology teams.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Category Management team; drive accountability.
