Job summary

Acara Solutions seeks an experienced Advanced Technical Scrum Master to support highly complex defense-focused engineering programs in Canonsburg, PA. You will lead Agile execution across hardware, software, and firmware teams and facilitate Scrum and SAFe ceremonies.

The role requires 5+ years in Scrum Master/Agile leadership, strong metrics reporting with Excel/Power BI, and a track record of driving Agile maturity and collaboration with program leadership. A Secret DoD clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years in Scrum Master/Agile leadership with a Bachelor's.
3+ years leading Agile teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
3+ years applying Agile methods in engineering/software contexts.
2+ years supporting cross-functional engineering teams (hardware/software/firmware).
2+ years creating and reporting project metrics and dashboards.
2+ years using Excel/Power BI for reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, CS, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies for technical engineering teams.
Guide Agile maturity initiatives across programs.
Partner with engineering and program leadership to track progress, priorities, and status.
Develop and maintain project metrics, dashboards, and data-driven reports.
Support planning activities, including cost and schedule estimation for engineering efforts.
Foster collaboration across hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineering teams.
