Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the United States is seeking an Executive Director Technology Development Risk Lead to provide an independent view of software delivery controls, including AI coding assistants, and to challenge first-line on risk. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 15 years of technology risk, technology audit, software engineering, or application security in financial services.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience querying and analyzing data with SQL.
• Experience with software delivery toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience assessing technology controls such as change management and access management.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, AWS QuickSight).
• Experience presenting findings to senior management.
• Experience coaching or developing junior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent risk assessments of control over software delivery using data-first approaches.
• Challenge the first line on AI coding assistants and agent tooling control models.
• Evaluate tooling entitlements and credentials, and access controls when changes are automated.
• Assess observability and telemetry to detect data loss and misuse.
• Use Python and SQL to analyze large engineering datasets and build dashboards for executives.
• Develop and test hypotheses to identify risks in software delivery KPIs and KPIs.
• Develop the annual oversight plan and report to senior management and regulators.
• Monitor remediation progress and prioritize control findings.
• Coach junior data scientists and risk professionals.
