Qualifications

• 7+ years of recruiting experience in a global company or retained/executive search firm.
• Deep understanding of leadership assessment, business context, and organizational structure.
• Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders through critical hiring decisions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with executive-ready updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle searches across Engineering and Product.
• Partner with C-level and executives to define role requirements and hiring strategy.
• Deliver a white-glove candidate experience from first conversation through close.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess leadership capability and alignment with Avalara.
• Create polished, insight-driven candidate summaries and present recommendations.
