Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology engagements within state health and human services. You will coordinate engineering, product, and operations teams to define scope, milestones, risks, and success criteria, ensuring projects meet business objectives.

You will develop detailed plans, monitor progress, and drive issue resolution while continually improving project management practices. Some travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ten+ years of experience in technical project management, product management, or related roles in a technology environment.
• Experience managing technology engagements for State Health and Human Services agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within scope.
• Define scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources, run meetings, resolve issues, and remove blockers to keep delivery on track.
• Track progress, manage scope changes, and escalate risks as needed.
• Support process improvement and establish PM best practices, tools, and standards.
• Contribute to Business Development efforts.
• Travel to client sites.
