Job summary

Mission Bridge Partners is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the delivery and client engagement of state government technology programs in a senior leadership capacity. You will drive the health and success of a portfolio of complex initiatives, balancing delivery, staff, contracts, and growth.

You will cultivate trusted relationships with government stakeholders and lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, product, and operations to ensure on-time, value-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex technology programs, projects, or portfolios.
• Experience delivering custom software development and/or cloud infrastructure programs.
• Experience with state government agencies and public-sector contracting and audits.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, staffing, schedules, and risks at program level.
• Strong Agile leadership and scaling experience across large teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior partner to government clients, developing trusted relationships and understanding agency priorities.
• Provide overall leadership for the successful delivery of multiple complex technology initiatives.
• Identify risks early and coordinate across teams to resolve issues before impact.
• Maintain regular client communication to understand evolving needs and provide project transparency.
• Lead and support Project Managers and delivery leaders for workstreams and projects.
• Oversee large, multidisciplinary technology teams and promote accountability and collaboration.
• Manage program-level milestones, dependencies, and risk across projects and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract and financial performance with finance and contracts teams.
• Support contract modifications, option years, surge requirements, CLIN growth, and subcontractor negotiations.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing programs by understanding client needs and agency landscape.
• Establish high delivery standards and strong client service.
