Qualifications

• Experience shipping software or platform products in a product-centric or agile role.
• Role blends product management with software engineering responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in applying AI/ML to business problems; NLP/predictive modeling desirable.
• Subject matter expertise in risk, control, compliance frameworks and auditing techniques.
• Strong understanding of core banking and financial technology domains.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with senior risk partners and tech stakeholders.
• Solid foundation in software engineering concepts, testing, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and implementation strategy for Risk & Controls in Banking Technology.
• Translate risk and compliance vision into a clear, actionable backlog with features and user stories.
• Establish modern agile practices to foster engineering excellence and rapid, risk-aware iteration.
• Serve as liaison between risk partners, engineering, and product owners with clear specs and automated gateways.
• Hands-on: build initial control validation models and mock gateway inputs to validate patterns.
• Influence senior leadership to adopt automated, AI-driven compliance gates and communicate progress.
• Ensure product decisions align with security, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
