Job summary

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, a leading global communications agency, seeks a Senior Account Executive for our Consumer Technology team. You bring 4-5 years of PR experience focused on technology, consumer brands, or fast-growth startups, and you know how to translate hardware and software into compelling human stories.

You will own media outreach, orchestrate 360-degree campaigns, and manage 4-6 client rosters with senior executives.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of PR experience focused on technology, consumer brands, or high-growth startups.
• Ability to translate hardware/software into human stories and secure coverage.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to own projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Media Lead: transition from supporting to leading media outreach, securing features and placements in tech, lifestyle, and consumer outlets.
• Integrated Narrative Execution: architect 360-degree campaigns combining traditional media, social content, and creator partnerships.
• Account Stewardship: manage day-to-day workstreams for a 4-6 client roster, ensure deliverables, mentor juniors, and brief leadership.
• Content Command: produce client-ready materials including messaging frameworks, press releases, product launch kits, and media pitches.
• High-Stakes Activations: lead media events, including festivals, screenings, and influencer activations; manage invites, RSVPs, on-site wrangling, and reporting.
• High EQ: lead with high EQ, represent the agency in senior rooms, know when to support colleagues or clients.
• Mentorship in Action: mentor junior colleagues, teach the 'how' and 'why' of PR and project tracking.
• Proactive Innovation: bring new opportunities through meetings, introductions, and creative ideas.
