Edelman is seeking a Senior Media Supervisor to lead earned media programs for technology clients in a fast-paced environment. You will deliver strategic media counsel, cultivate executive visibility, and manage communications that translate complex tech trends into compelling stories.

The role emphasizes building strong media relationships, guiding junior staff, and supporting new business opportunities with clear timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute earned media strategies for leading technology clients.
• Provide day-to-day media counsel and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Drive executive visibility and thought leadership initiatives for brands and executives.
• Build and strengthen relationships with business, technology, trade and broadcast media.
• Identify timely media opportunities and develop proactive story ideas that break through the news cycle.
• Monitor the technology landscape to identify emerging trends and relevant industry conversations.
• Develop compelling narratives, media strategies and communications materials that translate complex technologies and business trends into stories that resonate with media and key audiences.
• Serve as a day-to-day client contact and help manage account operations, timelines and budgets.
• Mentor and support junior team members through coaching, feedback and day-to-day leadership.
• Contribute to integrated communications programs and support new business opportunities.
