Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a senior leader to head Global Product Steward for parenteral drug products. You will set technical direction, sustain, optimize, and defend processes across the manufacturing network, partnering with internal sites and contract manufacturers.

You will build and lead a high‑performing team, ensure governance and regulatory readiness, and drive continuous improvement with a network-wide impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science, engineering, or technical discipline (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing in a cGMP environment.
• 10+ years in parenteral drug product manufacturing with MSAT, process support or related roles.
• Experience leading technical organizations across multiple manufacturing sites in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Product Steward organization for parenteral drug products and direct technical oversight across the network.
• Serve as the network-level contact for complex technical issues to maintain production continuity.
• Build and retain a high-performing team of Global Product Stewards with lifecycle management responsibility.
• Ensure trained, qualified technical experts deliver network-level stewardship and capacity expansion.
• Represent the Technical Services/MSAT organization in governance forums and regulatory strategy discussions.
• Chair Parenteral Technical Leadership Network meetings and align site leaders on standards.
• Drive global consistency and continuous improvement through collaboration with site leadership.
• Champion safety and compliance with corporate and site health, safety, and environmental goals.
• Design recognition programs to reinforce technical excellence and accountability.
