Job summary

SEI Investments Company is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to guide data-centric software delivery. The role emphasizes building and maintaining Snowflake data pipelines, DBT and Airflow workflows, and Power BI dashboards, while applying governance and cloud-native principles.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, design scalable architectures, and ensure delivery from inception to implementation. Strong SQL, Java/Spring Boot, REST, and DevOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in an application development organization.
• Experience delivering systems from inception through implementation.
• Experience with Snowflake: query tuning, cluster keys, pruning, secure views, data sharing.
• Experience with Python, DBT and Airflow for data transformation and cloud reporting.
• Experience building transformation logic to migrate data or build reports.
• Experience with Power BI: dashboards, reports, data visualizations, DAX expressions.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with UI Web development frameworks.
• Experience with unstructured data and persistence models (MongoDB, Snowflake).
• DevOps toolsets for versioning and containers (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins & GitLab).
• Experience with Kafka for event/data streaming.
• Four years of experience with multi-tier cloud-based applications; cloud-native design, microservices with REST/JSON, Spring Boot and Java.
• Experience with deploying and configuring high-performing Cloud Native applications.
• Familiarity with ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).

Responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions from requirements using Agile processes.
• Build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines and secure views; optimize clustering and pruning; enable data sharing.
• Implement dimensional modeling for analytics readiness.
• Create and manage Airflow workflows for ELT pipelines.
• Use DBT to maintain incremental views for reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards; develop Data Models and DAX calculations.
• Integrate Power BI with Snowflake for actionable BI insights.
• Apply data governance and ensure data quality and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve issues during development and testing phases.
• Collaborate with data architects, project managers, and stakeholders to address scheduling and technical issues.
• Suggest process improvements for estimates and testing; ensure alignment with SEI standards.
