Job summary

SEI Investments Company is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive cloud-native data solutions. You will design and implement data pipelines with Snowflake, build BI dashboards in Power BI, and lead multi-tier applications in Java/Spring Boot.

The role requires deep experience across Python, DBT, Airflow, and modern DevOps, with a focus on scalable analytics platforms and data governance.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation.
• Nine (9) years in Snowflake-related capabilities (query tuning, cluster keys, pruning, secure views, data-sharing).
• Nine (9) years with Python, DBT, and Airflow for cloud data transformations.
• Nine (9) years with Power BI for dashboards and data visualizations.
• Eight (8) years with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and UI Web development.
• Eight (8) years with unstructured data/persistence models (MongoDB, Snowflake) and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Four (4) years in cloud-based multi-tier applications (Cloud Native, microservices, REST, Spring Boot, Java; ORM tools).

Responsibilities

• Develop and design technical solutions from business requirements using Agile methodology.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and ELT workflows in Snowflake; apply clustering, pruning, and data sharing.
• Implement dimensional modeling for analytics and BI readiness.
• Create and manage Airflow workflows for reliable ETL/ELT processes.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards; integrate with Snowflake and optimize DAX.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to address scheduling and technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams; ensure alignment with SEI standards.
