Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks experienced Technicians for our electronics assembly team, building advanced hardware in a cleanroom/lab environment. You will hand-solder components and perform wire bonding for semiconductor assemblies, turning big ideas into reality.
You will support engineers, prepare engineering documentation, and may mentor junior technicians while conducting tests and data recording. A government security clearance will be required.

We're looking for detailed and experienced Technicians to join our electronics assembly team, supporting the building of advanced hardware in cleanroom/lab environment. Our Technicians work with engineers, building the kind of hardware that makes a difference. From hand soldering components to wire bonding in semiconductor assemblies, you'll bring big ideas to life.
As of July 2014 requires successful completion of at least four college credit technical courses. Including one course in both math and physics, and two engineering elective in the area of engineering they currently work in i.e. Chemical, Electrical, or Elec/Mech.
At least five years of applicable experience is required.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $49.68 - $49.68. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
