Job summary

NIKE Retail Services in Beaverton, OR seeks an experienced Senior Technical Designer to translate design intent into production-ready apparel. You will lead technical design across men’s tennis performance and lifestyle products, shaping fit and construction from concept through commercialization and production.

The role requires deep patternmaking, grading, materials knowledge, and factory collaboration to ensure manufacturability, quality, and calendar-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 5+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry recommended.
• Experience writing product specifications and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for men's tennis performance and lifestyle apparel from concept to production.
• Coordinate fit and construction for assigned styles against critical dates and specs.
• Create and revise technical packages, product specs, and development docs.
• Track prototypes and address construction/manufacturing challenges with solutions.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Management, Materials, Trims, Sourcing, and factories.
• Monitor product testing and communicate progress/risks to ensure integrity.
• Stay connected to market trends and athlete/consumer insights throughout development.
