Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Sr. Teamcenter PLM Solutions Engineer to bridge Engineering and IT, driving multi‑level BOM configurations and data governance across vehicle programs.

You will define blueprints, map data models, and guide developers in configuring Teamcenter to meet business needs while maintaining strong change management and testing practices. This role is hybrid, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7 yrs of experience focusing on Siemens Teamcenter PLM architecture and deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing, patching, tuning, and configuring multi-tier Teamcenter environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to translate data structures into technical specs.
• Design end-to-end Product BOMs, variant configurations, and eBOM/dBOM alignment.
• Define when to use out-of-the-box Teamcenter features vs. customization and map data objects for BMIDE.
• Collaborate with PLM leads and developers to provide functional requirements and wireframes.
• Architect engineering change management workflows and ensure compliant access controls.
• Lead UAT and resolve deployments to match business intent.
