Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Sr. Teamcenter PLM Solutions Engineer to act as the primary liaison between Engineering stakeholders and delivery teams.

You’ll help consolidate legacy systems into Siemens Teamcenter, define functional blueprints, and map product structures for scalable BOM and part management solutions. You will work with PLM architects and developers to ensure configurations, data models, and deployments align with business needs while fostering data governance and adoption across

Qualifications

• 5-7 yrs of experience in Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions architecture and deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Practical, technical literacy in installing, patching, and configuring multi-tier Teamcenter environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with engineering and business stakeholders to translate data structures and change cycles into technical specifications.
• Design end-to-end solutions for multi-level Product BOMs and variant configurations.
• Define Teamcenter capabilities vs customizations and map business objects for BMIDE input.
• Collaborate with PLM Lead and developers to provide functional requirements and wireframes.
• Architect engineering change management workflows and access controls.
• Oversee UAT and troubleshoot deployments to meet business intent.
• Develop business process models, user stories, and product backlogs from definition to production.
• Lead UAT and training plans with end-users for smooth transitions.
• Facilitate workshops with end-users to elicit deep process discussions.
