Job Description – Senior Teamcenter Integration & Administration Engineer

Location: Onsite

Role: Senior Teamcenter Admin / Integration Developer

Primary Focus: Teamcenter Administration | PLM Integration | SILK / DBOM | 3D JT File Extraction | Data Migration

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Teamcenter Integration & Administration Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Siemens Teamcenter administration, PLM integrations, engineering data extraction, and environment management.

The ideal candidate should have experience supporting complex Teamcenter environments across DEV, QA, and Production, along with hands-on development and integration experience involving DBOM data, SILK/database integration, and 3D JT file extraction and validation.

This role requires someone who can work across Teamcenter, databases, infrastructure, storage, CAD/geometry data, and downstream enterprise systems, rather than someone whose experience is limited to basic Teamcenter configuration.

Key Responsibilities

Teamcenter Integration & Development

• Design, develop, and support Teamcenter integrations with downstream enterprise applications and databases.
• Develop and maintain interfaces for exchanging engineering and PLM data between Teamcenter and SILK.
• Design and implement DBOM exposure/integration from Teamcenter to SILK.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, data synchronization issues, connectivity problems, and integration errors.
• Develop utilities and scripts required for Teamcenter data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration.
• Work closely with application, DBA, infrastructure, and PLM teams on end-to-end integration activities.
• Develop and support utilities for 3D JT file extraction from Teamcenter.
• Perform JT file validation to ensure required geometry and associated engineering data are extracted correctly.
• Support migration of JT files to Azure Shared Storage.
• Support extraction and transfer of geometry data from Teamcenter to CADENAS.
• Troubleshoot issues involving JT datasets, geometry extraction, file movement, and downstream consumption of engineering data.

SILK / DBOM Integration

• Design and implement solutions for DBOM exposure from Teamcenter to SILK.
• Support database-oriented integration between Teamcenter, SILK, and downstream applications.
• Validate data consistency and synchronization between Teamcenter and integrated systems.
• Work with DBA and application teams to troubleshoot database connectivity, data mapping, and integration issues.
• Support reliable engineering/BOM data exchange across PLM and downstream platforms.
• Administer and support Teamcenter DEV, QA, and Production environments.
• Ensure environment readiness for development, testing, migration, and production deployment activities.
• Monitor application/environment availability and coordinate planned downtime and maintenance.
• Support data refresh, environment refresh, access management, configuration, and infrastructure activities.
• Troubleshoot Teamcenter application, database, connectivity, and environment-related issues.
• Coordinate with PLM, DBA, infrastructure, storage, and application teams to maintain stable environments.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Experience developing and supporting Teamcenter integrations.
• Hands-on experience with JT / 3D JT file extraction, processing, migration, or validation.
• Experience with DBOM/BOM data extraction and downstream integration.
• Experience integrating Teamcenter with databases or enterprise applications, ideally including SILK.
• Experience supporting DEV, QA, and Production Teamcenter environments.
• Strong understanding of PLM data structures, engineering data, BOMs, datasets, and CAD/geometry data.
• Experience with data migration and large-volume engineering data/file movement.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, database, infrastructure, storage, and integration layers.
• Ability to collaborate with PLM, DBA, infrastructure, CAD, engineering, and application teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SILK integration within a PLM/engineering environment.
• Experience implementing DBOM exposure from Teamcenter.
• Experience with CADENAS integration or geometry extraction.
• Experience migrating JT/engineering files to Azure Shared Storage.
• Teamcenter customization/development experience and ability to build utilities, scripts, or extraction programs.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 75/hour

Pay Range Maximum: $95/hour
