Mandelbaum Barrett PC in Roseland, NJ is seeking an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support attorneys in a sophisticated practice. This full-time role focuses on estate administration, trust administration, and tax-related matters, working with high-net-worth clients and professional advisors.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of trusts, wills, and related documents.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• 7+ years of experience as a Trusts & Estates or Tax Paralegal, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Experience supporting estate and trust administration matters from inception through closing.
• Familiarity with probate procedures and surrogate court filings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist attorneys with all phases of estate, trust, tax, and business succession planning matters.
• Prepare probate, surrogate court, fiduciary, and tax-related filings and supporting documentation.
• Draft estate and trust administration documents, correspondence, beneficiary communications, and estate planning questionnaires.
• Gather, review, and organize financial records for the preparation of estate, gift, inheritance, fiduciary, and income tax returns, and assist with related tax compliance filings.
• Coordinate asset valuations, maintain estate and trust inventories, prepare accountings and supporting schedules, and assist with trust funding, beneficiary distributions, and post-death administration.
