CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Business Systems Engineer – Tax Technology to lead strategy, architecture, and automation of our global tax tech. This role partners with Tax, Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant tax solutions across the globe.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Vertex, Avalara, 1Source, and integrating tax systems with ERP, billing, procurement, and enterprise apps. Strong indirect tax knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years of experience implementing enterprise tax solutions.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with multiple tax platforms.
• Deep indirect tax knowledge: Sales/Use Tax, VAT, GST, global compliance.
• Experience integrating tax with ERP, billing, procurement, and enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, and support of tax solutions across global operations.
• Design scalable tax tech to support various indirect tax types.
• Define and implement tax system strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate tax platforms with ERP and enterprise applications (NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Coupa).
• Ensure tax systems comply with SOX controls and regulatory standards.
• Drive automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Document designs, specs, and troubleshooting procedures.
