Job summary

CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, seeks a Staff Business Systems Engineer – Tax Technology to lead the strategy and architecture of global tax platforms. You will partner with Tax, Finance, Accounting, IT Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, automated tax solutions that support rapid growth.

You will work with Vertex, Avalara, and 1Source, and integrate tax engines with NetSuite, SAP, Workday, and e‑commerce tools, while ensuring SOX compliance and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise tax technology solutions.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with multiple tax platforms.
• Strong indirect tax knowledge: sales/use tax, VAT, GST and global compliance.
• Experience integrating tax systems with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, and iPaaS (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data integrations.
• Experience supporting audits, SOX controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale enterprise initiatives and collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, and support of global tax solutions.
• Design scalable tax tech across Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes.
• Define tax system strategies with Global Tax, Finance, and Engineering.
• Develop integrations with NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Coupa and data warehouses.
• Drive automation to improve accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Ensure SOX compliance and data governance for tax systems.
• Provide post-production support and oversee tax project lifecycles.
• Establish best practices for architecture, monitoring, and operational support.
