Job summary

CoreWeave seeks a Staff Business Systems Engineer – Tax Technology to lead strategy, architecture, and optimization of our global tax technology landscape. You will partner with Tax, Finance, Accounting, IT Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant tax solutions that support CoreWeave’s rapid growth.

This role requires deep experience with tax engines such as Vertex and Avalara, hands-on ERP integrations, and a drive to modernize tax platforms while ensuring SOX

Qualifications

• 15+ years of enterprise tax technology implementation and support experience.
• 10+ years hands-on with multiple tax platforms.
• Experience integrating tax systems with ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong indirect tax knowledge across Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, and support of tax solutions across global operations.
• Design scalable tax tech to support Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes.
• Define tax system strategies with Global Tax, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Integrate tax platforms with ERP, billing, e‑commerce, and data warehouses.
• Ensure SOX compliance, data governance, and regulatory alignment.
• Drive automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
