Responsibilities

• Prepare all tax compliance, help with audits, and respond to tax letters.
• Serve as the primary engagement manager with economic responsibilities for billing, realization, and collections.
• Determine appropriate tax objectives, scope and methodology and participate in decisions with clients.
• Manage client engagement and knowledge in individual taxation, trusts, partnerships, corporate, and international returns.
• Develop and execute a business development plan including networking and client expansion.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns; manage projects.
• Research complex tax matters and keep current on laws and industry changes.
• Identify tax problems and develop solutions.
• Represent clients regarding tax notices and audits.
• Monitor developments in tax legislation.
• Prepare internal memoranda and guidance for IRS submissions.
