Responsibilities include leading engagement teams, mentoring staff, researching tax issues, and representing the firm with clients and the community. This is an on-site role with occasional travel.

• Experience with tax planning, preparation, and review of all tax engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and tax management software.
• Excellent managerial, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement teams and work with Partners providing day-to-day management of accounting services to clients.
• Identify effective tax solutions for new and existing clients in various industries.
• Conduct complex tax research to support client’s tax compliance and reporting.
• Mentor and develop engagement teams providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance.
• Manages department with emphasis on success.
• Identify value-added opportunities for new and existing clients.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
• Assist with drafting and presenting proposals to new and existing clients.
• Provide tax data for clients and third-party professionals.
• Prepare tax reports, correspondence, and research memoranda.
• Performs final review of all tax workpapers and returns and ensures that all review comments are cleared prior to filing.
• Creates, plans, and budgets for tax engagements and ensures completion of engagements within a defined timeline.
• Develop a positive presence in the community by representing the Firm.
• Become a recognized expert in their area and is the “go to person” in the Firm for specific transactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
