Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Ten or more years of public accounting experience.
• Strong leadership and staff development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide final technical review of tax returns and related documents.
• Research complex tax issues and develop recommendations and solutions.
• Stay current on tax law changes and emerging accounting procedures.
• Plan, schedule, and manage client engagements to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate effectively with clients to support their goals and interests.
• Direct and support staff by setting objectives, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee quality control and monitor team performance.
• Assign, track, and manage tasks and projects delegated to staff.
• Mentor and develop staff and supervisors to support ongoing growth.
• Build and maintain internal and external networks to help drive new business opportunities.
• Manage billing, collections, WIP, aging, and write-downs.
• Participate in and help facilitate internal CPE and training programs.
