Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Senior Director of Tax Accounting to lead enterprise tax strategy, compliance, and specialty accounting across the family of companies. This position operates in a hybrid environment with in-office collaboration two days per week, with location-based adjustments for distance from offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 12 years of prior relevant tax/accounting experience.
• 8 years of prior people management experience with direct responsibility for supervising, coaching, and evaluating direct reports.
• CPA, CMA, or other related certification highly desired.
• Prior healthcare or insurance experience a plus.
