Revo Taxpayer Advocacy seeks a senior tax advisor who can translate deep tax code expertise into strategic client outcomes. The role focuses on identifying aggressive, legal positions and designing bespoke planning strategies to expand the firm’s intellectual edge in the market.

Candidates should demonstrate 5+ years in tax planning/advisory, with familiarity of IRC sections and experience in complex structuring. This on-site Texas role offers full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPA/EA/JD/LLM (Tax) is required.
• 5+ years of experience in tax planning or advisory—not just compliance.
• Deep familiarity with IRC sections most practitioners have never read.
• Experience with Reg D investments, O&G structures, or alternative tax strategies is a strong advantage.
• Able to work independently and think commercially with real‑world impact.
• Genuine curiosity about tax law and proactive use.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine high-level tax strategies for complex client profiles.
• Research and apply advanced positions across income, investment, and business tax.
• Advise on working interest structures, fund investments, and alternative asset tax treatment.
• Collaborate with the founding team on product development and service design.
• Support client-facing advisors with technical depth and deal-specific guidance.
• Contribute to thought leadership — including content, AMAs, and client education.
