Job summary

Revo Taxpayer Advocacy in Grapevine, TX seeks a Tax Manager with 5+ years of tax season experience and active CPA or EA. You will manage high-net-worth and business clients, review returns, advise on tax planning, and lead audits. Hybrid in-person/remote work is available after training.

Compensation is competitive with a top-5% industry package, plus bonuses and full benefits. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA or EA is required.
• Minimum of five full years of tax season experience is required.
• Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, presentation and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and business clients.
• Review, and deliver individual, partnership, and S corporation tax returns for clients in a variety of industries.
• Consult with clients regarding tax compliance, planning opportunities, and other tax matters.
• Identify, research, and resolve tax issues, including complex tax research and projections.
• Develop and maintain strong professional client relationships.
• Manage tax deadlines, workflow, and engagement budgets for assigned clients.
• Manage and develop staff through coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Lead IRS and state audits and communicate with taxing authorities.
• Work directly with senior managers and partners on complex client matters.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve tax processes, workflows, and client service.
