Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is a national accounting firm seeking an accomplished tax professional to lead planning and execution of tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across diverse industries. You will conduct complex tax research and communicate findings in clear reports.

Qualified candidates will have CPA licensure, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Taxation, 9+ years of tax experience, and MS in a related field preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
9+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
Current and valid CPA license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings clearly through well-structured reports.
Review tax return preparations completed by other staff to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Build strong client relationships by identifying tax issues and delivering actionable insights.
Mentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching and career development support.
