Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Services Manager in EY EDGE Private (FSO) to lead tax compliance and consulting for clients, including private entities and high-net-worth individuals. You will manage projects, coordinate information, and guide staff while delivering on tight deadlines.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and a broad tax background, with a strong focus on client relationships and quality delivery in a hybrid environment across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• CPA, EA or licensed attorney.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax exposure.
• Proficient in tax and accounting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting delivery to meet client deadlines.
• Lead projects and work independently with guidance in complex situations.
• Coordinate with client tax liaisons and trust teams to gather information and issue tax statements and returns.
• Support effective long-term relationships and workflow with clients.
• Manage engagement deliverables and resources to ensure timely tax compliance delivery and favorable economics.
• Advise on complex tax matters and assign tasks to staff and seniors.
• Review staff work for accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide leadership, feedback and coaching to team members.
