EY is seeking a Tax Accounting and Risk Senior to help clients with ASC 740, tax provision processes, and internal controls. You’ll work with leaders, serve as a trusted advisor, and be mentored by senior tax professionals to enhance tax reporting and compliance.

The role blends technical tax work with advisory responsibilities, requiring a CPA trajectory or attorney status, strong communication, and ability to travel. EY offers a hybrid model and broad total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years of relevant tax or legal experience.
• Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation.
• Tax provisions, return to provision reconciliation, and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of processes, solutions, and projects by executing activities and informing recommendations.
• Meet performance objectives and metrics set locally, including client service, quality and risk management.
• Coordinate with team members and potentially junior colleagues to deliver deliverables.
• Define and execute deliverables, track status and project progress.
