Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Accounting and Risk Senior to help organizations meet tax regulatory requirements and strengthen their tax control environment. You will advise on tax provision processes, assess risk, and contribute to improving compliance and reporting accuracy.

The role offers mentoring from senior tax professionals, exposure to high-profile clients, and a hybrid work model that balances in-person collaboration with remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Typically, 2–4 years of relevant tax or legal experience.
• Progress toward (or completion of) CPA or licensed attorney status.
• Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation.
• Experience with Return to Provision Reconciliation and Deferred Tax Accounting.
• Experience with Tax provisions and associated disclosures.
• Ability to travel 50%+ and work on out-of-town projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions, and projects by executing defined activities.
• Meet performance objectives and metrics; collaborate with team members.
• Assist in preparation/review of tax provisions for client organizations.
• Advance improvements to tax reporting, compliance, and accounting processes.
