Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; continuing education per IRS/state rules.
• 1+ year in tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping including individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and keep education current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse situations (individuals and businesses).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes, offering personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships with empathetic, consultative service and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
