Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts in clear client language
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and implications
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance and audit guidance as needed
• Collaborate with team and maintain a positive, client-focused office environment
