H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their finances, and offer personalized recommendations and savings opportunities.

This in-person role at a local H&R Block office includes training, access to leading tax technology, and an incentive plan based on impact and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; continuing education/IRS requirements may apply.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience, including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.
• CPAs or enrolled agents preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
