Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in the Tax Operations department of a Florida Tax Collector's Office, including mentoring.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid State of Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex and critical tax services assignments and analyzes systems data.
• Reviews and creates millage rates, exemptions, and ensure tax roll accuracy.
• Advises staff on tax technologies and IT solutions to meet business objectives.
• Prepares and files annual and quarterly tax notices and delinquent notices.
• Maintains TaxSys and related data processing systems for routine and specialized tasks.
