Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a hands-on Sr. Tax Manager to lead tax provision, compliance, reporting, and indirect tax for a public company environment.

This role will oversee federal, state, and international tax matters, support SOX 404 compliance, manage audits, and partner with Accounting, Finance, and external advisors. The ideal candidate balances strategic and day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in a publicly traded company environment.
• Strong background in corporate income tax, tax provision, Sales & Use Tax, and state tax compliance.
• Experience with SEC reporting, tax footnotes, and SOX controls.
• ERP experience, with Workday strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740) and related disclosures.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance including multi-state filings.
• Support Sales & Use Tax processes and ensure cross-jurisdiction compliance.
• Maintain and improve SOX 404 controls, documentation, and testing procedures.
• Partner with external auditors and tax advisors on audits and reviews.
• Lead international tax reporting, including GILTI, FDII, and transfer pricing.
• Research complex tax issues and provide leadership recommendations.
• Drive process improvements and tax technology enhancements.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across finance and cross-functional teams.
