RRC Solutions Group in the Capital Region seeks a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to lead tax engagements for closely held businesses, owners, and high‑net‑worth individuals. You will oversee federal and state compliance, planning, and advisory work while guiding a local team and coordinating with multiple offices.

The role offers growth toward Principal/Partner, opportunities to develop staff, expand client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s strategic direction in the Albany area.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• Progressive public‑accounting experience.
• Strong tax compliance and planning knowledge.
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Experience serving closely held or owner‑operated businesses.
• Demonstrated client‑relationship management capabilities.
• Previous staff supervision, coaching or team‑leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, professional judgment and executive presence.
• Current Capital Region residency or willingness to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with closely held businesses, business owners and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Oversee federal and state tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements.
• Review returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Advise clients on tax‑planning opportunities and broader business matters.
• Manage engagement timelines, workflow, budgets and client expectations.
• Supervise, coach and develop Albany‑area employees.
• Coordinate client work and technical resources across multiple offices.
• Help transition and strengthen longstanding client relationships.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality and client service.
• Support selected accounting, bookkeeping, review and advisory engagements as appropriate.
• Build relationships within the Capital Region business community.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new business.
• Participate in the office’s long‑term growth and strategic direction.
