Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Manager in Latham, NY to lead the Capital Region office’s tax engagements. You will manage key client relationships, oversee federal and state tax compliance and planning, and develop staff within a growing practice.

Candidates with CPA license and progressive public accounting experience will advance the office’s strategic direction and contribute to client service excellence while guiding teams across engagements and timeframes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license preferred.
• Progressive public-accounting experience.
• Strong tax compliance and planning knowledge.
• Experience with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Experience serving closely held or owner-operated businesses.
• Staff supervision or team leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and client-relationship capabilities.
• Current Capital Region residency or willingness to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Manage relationships with closely held businesses, business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
• Oversee federal and state tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements.
• Review returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
• Advise clients on tax-planning opportunities and broader business matters.
• Manage engagement timelines, workflow, budgets and client expectations.
• Supervise, coach and develop Albany-area employees.
• Coordinate client work and technical resources across multiple offices.
• Help transition and strengthen longstanding client relationships.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality and client service.
• Support selected accounting, bookkeeping, review and advisory engagements as appropriate.
• Build relationships within the Capital Region business community.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new business.
• Participate in the office’s long-term growth and strategic direction.
