Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager/Senior Manager to lead its Capital Region office in Latham, NY. This client-focused role combines people leadership with hands-on tax engagements for partnerships, corporations and individuals.

The ideal candidate has a CPA and progressive public accounting experience, and will manage client relationships, plan engagements and help shape the office’s growth. Relocation support may be considered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
Active CPA license strongly preferred.
Progressive public-accounting experience.
Experience with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
Experience supervising staff or teams.

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
Oversee federal and state tax compliance, planning and advisory engagements.
Review returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations and individuals.
Advise clients on tax-planning opportunities and broader business matters.
Supervise, coach and develop Albany-area employees.
Coordinate client work across multiple offices.
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and develop new business.
