Qualifications

• Seven (7) or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or law
• Experience in the private client service area, required
• Prior supervisory experience, required
• Experience working in public accounting, preferred

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and identifies client needs and opportunities
• Acts as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues
• Reviews complex tax returns and provides feedback to preparers
• Directs communication with government agencies on high-complexity matters
• Performs advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership
• Expands knowledge through client engagements and current tax developments
• Prioritizes and reviews work to keep engagements on track
• Assists with PCS/firm contributions including billing and training
• Builds relationships with BDO professionals and external sources
• Other duties as assigned
