Qualifications

• Active CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's preferred.
• 4–7 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Experience reviewing complex business and individual income tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Exceptional Excel skills.
• Proficiency with tax automation/workflow software a plus.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and ambitious.

Responsibilities

• Review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Prepare complex business income tax returns as needed.
• Provide proactive tax planning, consulting, and projection services.
• Research complex tax matters and provide actionable recommendations.
• Delegate tasks while monitoring quality and deadlines.
• Manage client relationships and act as trusted tax advisor.
• Communicate tax strategies and engagement updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop team members; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with partners to identify additional value for clients.
• Contribute to growth of the Tax practice.
