The candidate has an Active CPA license, a Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s preferred), 8+ years in public accounting, and strong leadership, communication, and client-relations skills

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Proven expertise in managing complex tax engagements and serving as a trusted advisor.
• Strong leadership skills and track record of developing staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a varied client portfolio.
• Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local income tax returns and workpapers.
• Act as a strategic advisor, understanding client business objectives and offering tailored solutions.
• Forge and sustain relationships with client executives, owners, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple client engagements with planning, staffing, budgeting, timelines, and profitability.
• Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, and new service opportunities.
