This role emphasizes staying current on tax law changes, coordinating workloads across engagements, and delivering practical tax strategies. A CPA/EA or active pursuit is required, with 4+ years of experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant tax experience.
• CPA or EA designation, or actively working toward one.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for assigned tax clients, building long-term relationships.
• Advise clients on planning, compliance, research, and advisory matters.
• Manage federal and state tax compliance engagements and coordinate client needs.
• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns with thorough analysis.
• Research complex tax issues and clearly communicate recommendations to clients and team members.
• Work across multiple engagements while balancing deadlines and client expectations.
• Stay current on changes in tax law, regulations, and industry practices.
• Mentor team members to develop technical skills and career growth.
