Forvis Mazars US seeks an experienced tax professional to lead complex compliance and advisory work for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. You will research intricate tax matters, review other staff work for accuracy, and engage senior stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

You will mentor a tax team, collaborate on client growth strategies, and contribute to thought leadership while maintaining cutting-edge CP​E and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
• Current CPA license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and internal meetings. Travel may include overnight stays.

Responsabilités

• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings clearly in reports.
• Review tax return preparations for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues and provide solutions.
• Drive client service excellence and build long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support client growth and retention through strategic planning and business development.
• Contribute to business development by assisting with proposals and client acquisition.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project workflows for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Maintain technical expertise through ongoing Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
• Contribute to thought leadership by authoring publications and leading internal training sessions.
• Represent the firm at industry events and networking forums.
