Job summary

6 Degrees Search is recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager in the East Valley, reporting to Tax Partners & Senior Managers. You will supervise and mentor a small team and review/sign federal and multi-state returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, trusts, individuals, and tax-exempt entities.

The base salary ranges from $140,000 to $175,000 annually. This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager to grow toward the Partner level within a growing CPA firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Master's degree in Tax a plus.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in supervisory role.
• Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for developing others.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service.
• High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications.
• Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred.

This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.

Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.
