Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required.
• 4–8+ years of experience in tax law with a focus on M&A transactions.
• Ability to independently manage the tax side of M&A deals from structuring through closing.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication to explain tax concepts to non-tax practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax workstreams related to deal structuring, due diligence, and post-transaction planning.
• Advise on tax implications of M&A transactions for clients.
• Collaborate with corporate and transactional attorneys on complex deals.
