Qualifications

• Experience with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, copying, answering phones and assisting the public.

Responsibilities

• Codes and enters data into the computer for taxpayers' reporting forms and returns.
• Performs varied clerical duties including filing, typing, copying, processing records, answering telephones, and assisting the general public.
• Conducts research and enters and updates data in the computer.
• Examine system records to ensure proper coding and accuracy.
• Processes personal property documents for businesses, boats, aircraft and mobile homes.
• Enters data into the CAMA program for deeds, transfers, releases and other documents.
• Assists with homestead, real estate, ownership, values and tax amounts.
• Performs related work as assigned.
