Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our Carolantaville Tax team in-office at our Winston-Salem, Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville, or Atlanta offices. You'll work with privately held businesses across a variety of industries, gaining exposure to complex tax matters and building trusted relationships with clients.

You will prepare, review, and supervise returns for S corporations, partnerships, and other pass-through entities, and you will mentor staff while researching and analyzing tax

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of public accounting or professional services firm experience; 3 years preferred.
• Pursuit of EA, CPA, or JD license in the near future.
• Strong client service mindset and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and supervise tax engagements for S corporations, partnerships, and other pass-through entities.
• Partner with clients and engagement teams to provide customized tax compliance and advisory services.
• Research and analyze technical tax issues, developing practical recommendations.
• Manage multiple engagements and priorities while delivering excellent client service.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
• Mentor and develop team members with coaching and technical guidance.
• Expand technical and industry expertise through client experience and learning opportunities.
• Contribute to a broad range of engagements, including C corporation returns and tax provisions.
